Valentine’s Day is THE day that couples across America celebrate their love, whether it has only been a few weeks or decades in the making. It is a source of stress for some, absolute joy for others. There are many stories as to the origins of this day, and many holiday purists define February 14th as nothing more than a clever ploy of the advertising world.

While we don’t go all-out on any holiday or celebration, my hubby & I do recognize the gift we have in one another, and we do our best to show it daily. Let’s face it, many of us have been through a relationship or two, and AC & I are no exception. However, we both believe that we were brought together by nothing less than Divine Intervention. (Someday I’ll share the story.)

Our marriage hasn’t always been perfect; quite often it is much less so! The fact remains that we love one another deeply. I have often regretted that I did not meet this man sooner in my life, but had we met earlier, we would not have been a good match! Therefore, I am thankful for God’s timing! On June 3, 2010, we will celebrate four marvelous years of married life. I am looking forward to as many more as I am allowed here on earth.

The purpose of this blog entry is my gift to him this Valentine’s Day 2010. I love him enough to tell all of you what a precious gift I was given the day he walked into my life. He has geen good for me in so many ways, some of which I am sure I still have not discovered.

AC, you are my partner on this journey of life, and I’m enjoying the ride. You make me smile when I don’t want to, and laugh when I want to be angry. You love me in spite of me. I’m glad that I asked specifically for YOU, though I had no idea you even existed.  I love you, AC Cooper, III!
