Spring is just around the corner, and I am ready to start planting. When we moved into our new home last summer, all I could think of was planting a garden come springtime. I am SO over the poor quality of food that is so readily available in our stores. While I do have a fresh market source or two, there is nothing like growing your own vegetables and knowing that they are truly organic.

I took an idea from jane4girls800dollarannualbudget.blogspot.com on getting my plants started. Having tried several other methods of starting seeds indoors, I’m going to see how this one compares. I don’t have the nifty little “seeds in a blanket” but I’ll throw in some dirt & seeds, then cover with a little more dirt. I’ll have the jugs inside on a table, so they’ll be sans lids.
