I don’t know why, but I couldn’t believe it when I read this article. WHY does my government need to know my BMI? That’s between me, my physician, and my insurance company. I can think of two reasons off the top of my head why they would want that info: increase my taxes and restrict my access to health care. Little by little, our private lives are becoming government property.
