There is a movement that has been around for quite some time and is catching on again in certain circles. It’s about getting back to basics and going natural with personal care products. Two of the products being replaced are shampoo and conditioner. Yep – no more daily shampoos followed by slathering hair in conditioner. I bet you’re thinking, “EWW!” but I can tell you that it really isn’t as bad as all that.

AC’s friend R came to visit yesterday from Tennessee. He was just coming to see our house and AC’s job site, eat lunch and then go home. However, he had brought a change of clothes (“Just in case!) and decided to spend the night. R has been a vegetarian for some time, and leads a very healthy lifestyle, but recently adopted veganism.

We all know that fresh fruit and juice is better than anything that can be bought in the store.
Convenience is the reason most people buy bottled, canned or frozen juices. After all, anything is better than nothing, right? Think again! With all the sugars, preservatives and who-knows-what-else is mixed in with a tiny percentage of real fruit juice, you’d probably be better off drinking plain ol’ water!
